I agree, the majority of girls about that age annoy the hell outta me and can be a bit weird at my age, but my ex was a totally different kettle of fish, she even stole my wallet so i couldnt pay for a meal for her and paid herself! A very rare thing for a female to do!
 
5 years is nothing, i am 35 and mf GF is 53. i did worry at first but in the end i thought she makes me happy so stick with it. She is the best thing thats happened in my life and we have been together for 7 years now.
 
9 years age difference between my parents and they have been married 25 years now. My dad was 30 and she was 21 when they first met so obviously the age gap isnt an issue really.
 
Five years when you're in your thirties? You're daft to worry about it - as long as you work well as a couple then just get on with it.

This might matter if you're a teenager but not as a man in his thirties. If you like her and she likes you then enjoy it and stop worrying about the age difference :)

Older women seem to like me more than younger one's do. I like older women too! They are much more mature and sensible compared to the younger girls I have come across and they tend not to have an attitude problem like most younger girls.
I think a lady in her mid 30's to early 40's would be just right :) They just seem so much easier to talk to aswell.
I remember when I was about 22-23 I got chatted up by some 40 year old. She was very slim/petite and she kept saying how much she liked my leather jacket (I don't wear one anymore) and said she wanted to try it on. Anyway a few drinks later (3 pints) and I am a bit tipsy. She grabs my hand and shoves it down her top and said ''Do you like my new piercing?''
This of course instantly got me excited and she has a dirty grin on her face.
So a bit later we end up kissing a bit outside and then swap numbers. She then texted me shortly after I left saying she only wants sex and would have brought me home tonight if her kids were with the father :eek:
Anyway getting to the point, I chickened out and never did text or call her again. Oh how I wished I had :(
I fail :(
Anyone else gets an opportunity like this, I urge you to just go for it! (unlike me)

I was 20 and going out with a 35 year old. It was fine at the time, but now i'm 31 it does freak me out a bit that if we had stayed together, he would be nearer 50 now.

Your age gap is nothing OP. Wouldn't bother me in the least, i've gone out with both older and younger, and in my opinion that kind of age gap isn't even an issue. Have the baby talk if and when it arises, you never know she may not have settled down by now because she doesn't want children. :)
