Agreed. Really hope the Bale hysteria dies down soon as well. Kept quiet all game by Ferreira, when he does have the ball easily the most predictable bloke on the pitch. Go left, run, hit ball with left foot. Yawn.
Edit: Any Chelsea fans think Lampard should have taken the pen?

Yup - for once I've enjoyed being a Liverpool fan, as it means I don't have any reason to care who won or lost that!
Not for the first time either.
Exciting game but the standard of football was dire.

How was it stonewall?? As you just said the ball was going the other way, the player had no chance of getting it.

That's the second time criticism from me (the second time itself) about your players has been met with a jealous comment from you. Do you not sing another tune? Funnily enough last time you never did specify whether you actually disagreed with me or not. I think it's pretty plain to see how Bale plays tbh, I'm sure I'm not alone.

What was up with Drogba?
Apart from the challenge on Hutton at the end, he was being nice.
Was helping our players up with play going on around him, apologising for fouls, and barely celebrated his goal.
Drug test plz.

I think other teams are working bale out. He is a very good player, but teams are doubling up on him as soon as he gets the ball, and since he relies only on pace and not skill to go around players he is nullified pretty quickly.
As a Spurs fan I think a draw was a fair result, but the ref did have a bit of a howler today, Essien should have gone early on, and possibly again in the second half.
I wont say this very often, but Ekotto had a VERY solid game today. He is always going forward but today he was defensively sound. Dawson was also fantastic considering he was out for 2-3 months. Dawson and when Gallas is back will be very good for us.
