*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

Yes, it appears in device manager as Android Bootloader Interface under Android Phone.

edit - sorry, meant to say HTC Bootloader, is that correct?

Yep,

Are you sure it's in fastboot mode btw? The phone screen should say "boot loader" as teh top option!

Just noticed that S-Off has some different hboot partition files depending on what kind of rom your using, do they make that much difference as I just have the stock one atm, but ive downloaded the one suitable for oxygen but when i try and burn the img file using imgburn its saying incorrect or unknown file type?

Yep, definitely in fastboot (back + power). Just installing the SDK on an XP machine to see if that sorts it. Will report back soon.

S-OFF alone works on any ROM at any time, it's ROM independent :)

The partition tables are only for certain ROMs that support them. AOSP ROMs like DeFrost, Cyanogen and Oxygen will work with Data++ and N1Table, Data++ will give about an additional 50MB so if you don't have an SD-EXT on your card then Data++ will be the way to gain some extra space. Only downside is Radio updates must be flashed via Fastboot using ADB.

Edit*

Woot, remembered the pattern for Handcent! :D

Same here, upgraded last night and all is well.

Robbie - how do I flash bravo_alphaspl-n1table.img? I've downloaded the file from the AlphaRev site but where do I enter the 'fastboot flash hboot bravo_alphaspl-n1table.img' command?

Instructions are severely lacking on their website.

Cheers.

as long as you are at the boot loader screen and you have the drivers installed and are already S-Off

- dump the image in the SDK tools folder
- command prompt go to the SDK tools folder
- run the command
- reload bootloader on phone, the new version will display at the top

should work fine

it's the same to install recoveries + radio via fastboot. (fastboot flash recovery or fastboot flash radio)

Okay here is a strange one.

Calendars - I have a couple of Google calendars synced onto my Google account. Now my personal calendar is showing perfectly and the UK Holidays calendar I subscribed to is showing fine.

Problems start when I try to add another subscribed Google calendar to the mix. Say I want to add the premier league fixtures for a team I go to add it the same way I did with the UK Holiday calendar, go to sync my phone and it doesn't show?

Any thoughts?

Oxygen 1.0.3 + CalWidget (I think its CalWidget, the default Oxygen calendar)

It shuffles around the storage in the phone to give more internal memory for apps and app data. It can improve performance a bit too.

You should have over 190MB internal mem free, for example, after a fresh ROM install if using N1Table or 250MB+ free if using Data++
