Why is BBC News so biased, i might as well watch sky news.
It annoys the living **** out of me too.
They should stick to facts rather than editorial clap trap, it's meant to be news.

Are you saying that the most efficient way to move a guy who can't move himself is by getting a load of police officers to pull him? Surely it would have been easier to get a couple of guys to move the brother back and just wheel him back.
According to the protesters the Police blocked off an avenue of the previously agreed route.
That's why they went off track.
Just to offer the other side.
Pretty much, the quickest way to remove someone from a potentially dangerous situation is to pick them up or drag them out of the way. The Wheelchair was being controlled by an able bodied person who would have struggled with the Police using the Wheelchair as a shield. The easiest and most efficient way to diffuse that is to remove the most vulnerable person from the situation as quickly as possible.
Not even a little bit of 'good boy tommy (pat on head)' ?
Perhpas you should calm down a bit - are you disabled too or something as you seem to be getting a bit too emotional over a non-incident.
That's my opinion on this too. I don't see anything wrong with the interview.Nothing wrong with the actions of the police force for the reasons already mentioned. The BBC interview was fine in my view as well.
Exactly, the police involved should be throughly ashamed of themselves.
Here's hoping the students up the anti and cause more grief for this elitist government.
Is there a problem if I am ?

If he didn't want to scuffle with police then why turn up to a riot in the first place?
He was obviously verbally assaulting those officers otherwise they wouldn't have neutralised him. These guys are professionals they wouldn't just do that to him for no reason.
I also agree that the BBC interview wasn't biased and was fairly conducted.
However, the article by Richard Littlejohn in the Daily Fail went far over the line...

There was also a Lou and Andy cartoon above that article, just in case you weren't quite clear on who was being joked about.[/QUOTE]
Richard Littlejohn is a massive idiot. I can't read anything of his without erupting into blind rage.
Get that straight. He went to a peaceful demonstration that in places turned into a riot.
