that track on bspec is a nightmare for me with that car, was miles ahead of everyone in 1st and then got smacked twice at that crossover and he ended up in 9th place even though nobody actually overtook him:confused::mad::(

There are now seasonal races/time trials/drift events. You win around 2 mill in total for winning all 5 races. The time trial and drift events have online leaderboards, they are available untill the 6th of January. Hopefully this is a regular thing.

edit: Also theres another dealership which has the Formula GT and a few other cars in.
 
3rd is my best so far on the GT-R race. I'm struggling with fundamental front grip. Even at medium / slow pace, the car just doesn't want to turn in :(

Yeah, it's pretty easy to confuse the game at the crossover, I've come in 12th on a few occasions simply because I crashed out and the game went wappy and thought I had another lap to do when I actually didn't. Thankfully I have the stealth F1 as well though and that handles beautifully so my b-spec numpty did it on the first try :)

edit: this is neat, just found out that after watching a replay in the replay theatre you can actually jump straight into the track and race it yourself just by clicking the green flag without needing to reload or anything.

Cheers mate - just spotted them - as I thought ou need to have the cars so gonna need to make some money first before I can compete...

How difficult are they and I presume you need to fully mod your car upto the rules as possible to have a chance?

How the hell did you guys manage to complete the top gear challenges? 5 retries for stupid disqualifications and already I'm too annoyed to bother with it any more. I'm especially irritated because I want the track available in practice for F1 madness identical car races but I assume it's like the AMG events and doesn't appear till you clear a certain amount of the Top Gear challenges.

The Nascar things are impossible to do with a pad. I've had no problems with anything else but I just cannot get gold on some of the Nascar events...

Going to fix my wheel on Friday, then I'm going to kick Jeff Gordon's backside :D

Shows just how bad your driver really is. He always shows them the inside line, he never overtakes when the opportunity is there and he brakes when there is no need to.
Havent tried him on the real courses, just the first oval and its so random as to what the other cars will do on it.
The number of times he gets passed on the inside is stupid. Overtake option is a non event. Dont mind a bit of work to get him to win but most of the time the first oval is a complete waste of 18 mins.
Like the wind with Chap 70's 2J race car with B-Spec isn't working. Car is too heavy and lacking in BHP.

Smack the downforce all of the way up and he will carry more speed into corners and won't burn up his rear tyres
 
Right I give in! Iv spent the afternoon doing the seasonal challenges, the 500 one took quite a while for me to learn how to do the back corner in 5th to get past the last car on the last lap but I felt good for it! The second one I did on the first attempt with a crash... (like the car really as its easy to race)

Now the 3rd with the rx7 is the WORST thing iv ever driven!! It does no handle, how has anyone made it break stably and got it to power out of corners without spinning!?!?!? :(

BEST CAR! I was so annoyed you couldnt race mod it as in 4 the m3 gtr was the best car in the game... My one has 530 bhp (ish) and after weight reduction is so much fin to drive, the 350i race car is technically better to race though (got excited to find one in the pre owned thing)

I chopped in the R32 for the R35 GTR V. I had no front end grip with the R32.

I added an air filter, aero parts and fully customized transmission.

Managed to win the race. The car is much more responsive the added aero.
 
b-spec is so boring, only been doing it to get extra cash and progress etc, i literally turn it on, let the guy go, usually give him a much higher powered car then any of the others and just go make food or change over to sky n watch tv then turn back and it's done.

That's the best thing about it :eek: my PS3 will not be turned off now :D
 
In the Fiat 500 seasonal is there any point in adding custom transmission? I just cant get anywhere near first - usually 8seconds behind and normally only get to 2nd on the first hairpin of the last lap...

TC is off and all other mods have been done...
