you just need to get first place overall in the championship to get a gold, as long as you have enough points to win and the guy in second place has over a 100 point gap between you you can skip the last race and get gold still

is it just me or are teh seasonal event races EXTREMELY difficult to get first place? you literally need to take every corner/bend perfectly to catch up with the first place driver, i have never come first, I came close to it in the Bonus round 2 Mini race however, that track can easily me mastered quickly, but even then when your car is tuned to the tip of the maximum youre allowed its still very hard

I've done the first set in 1st place apart from the last one. The new ones are a bit harder - I'm struggling on the Focus ST one to get first.
I demand that you provide your setup and mods for, at the very least, the fiat 500. I put the aero mods on mine, maybe not wise. sports filter, but then I changed the oil and now even without the sports filter it's over max power. Are you like, level 30 or something? I hear at 30 your fully customisable gear ratios are actually fully customisable?

The second set are almost impossible, I've tried every race except the Mini race and cannot get first in any. In the Focus I get to within 12 seconds then he matches me for pace, the Mustang can't go round corners, but I can get within 2 seconds of the lead but I run out of laps, I haven't found a suitable RX7 yet, even with the downforce on the back set to 28 it still understeers at the front and massively oversteers at the rear. NASCAR is a joke. Why is it in this game, let alone on the 'ring
To put my moaning into context, I just got my second bronze in the Seb Vettel Challenge
I did it at 27, fully customisable transmission with the gears set as low as they can go (87mph). Then drive smooth and hit EVERY apex exactly and you should be able to win it

!!The link I posted a few pages back seemed to reckon it was going to be a western release too.
edit: kona - it is now yes, now that they've removed the copy protection from the saves. If you use a different account to play though the game will overwrite the save data with new data (to stop you buying expensive cars then sending them to your main account basically).

X1 challenges are bloody hard very hard 
the only race I have managed to come in first is the Honda CRZ '10, and that was by 0.374 seconds led all the way by a Toyota VITZ, I only managed to get bronze in the Fiat 500, but I think I could get gold, I remember I was third only by 0.2 seconds
