this will be my second car loaned lol, last time I wasted over 200k on a skyline and mods before I realised i made a big mistake in the one i choose, and started a new career because of it, this time i didnt want to make the same mistake, thats why I asked.
I try to avoid using other peoples cars at all costs, but there are literally dozens of Skylines to choose from, this was an exception

wondering if anyone knows what track this could be.
was an online game in free run mode,
night time track
it has a massive longish straigh that goes under a tunnel.
i thought - SS5 or SS7, but i tried both in my GTR i had in the race and its not them as i was able to hit top speed for a while (others in the race had faster cars and were able to get faster speeds.)

tried that track but its too short.
the race i was doing allowed your own cars i had my 800+bhp GTR, it max out on the track i was on, others had tuned lambos etc going faster.
Everyone was doing drag races.
only thing i can think of is that it was possibly a custom track, but i dont think GT5 allows custom tracks for online racing yet

Not really the same TBH, the normal dealership rotates about 30 different sets of cars , 1 per "day", the online one contains cars that you will need for the specials and some of the more rare cars. These update when PD updates them and/or the specials change.
Finally golded the fiat500 event!! That was a birch. I know it's been said, but here's how I did it:
Full Susp. Race Flywhl. Race Cltch. Full Transm. LSD. Window W/R, Sports air filter, rigidity improvement.
Leave LSD and Susp default, set transm to lowest top speed (87mph), breaks 5/6 front/rear.
T/C off, skid recovery force off (this motley trucker is set to on by default!), ABS = 1.
Turns out my trying to be clever with suspension/LSD was ruining it.
Engineering degree utterly useless

Yep, i've learnt that too.
The suspension setup seems to do absolutely bugger all.
Doing the Nissan SS Route 5 and trying to make the bloody thing oversteer instead of understeer just wasn't happening
