Mongoose, Scorpion, Magnex or Milltek?

Was looking at the RS clutch although may as well wait until mine starts playing up. How long has yours been playing up?

On off for a year now. Been on two track days since it started making the rattle noise and seems ok still lol. It may just need the fluid bleeding.

What is this rattle noise you speak of? :)

My Fiesta ST makes a bit of a funny rattle at idle, rev specific, when the engine gets warm...not managed to work out what it is, I know if you dip the clutch or raise the revs that it goes. Sticking my head near the usual places (water pump, aux belt tensioners etc) and its inaudible...been doing my head in trying to work out what it is.

Mine happens at all temps, at first i thought it was the water pump or tensioners, but couldnt find the noise... Move your head to the battery (other side, away from the belt noise) or if you can under the car near the gearbox and you will be able to hear it loud and clear. Someone on FiestaSTOC says its the slave cylinder. I'm hoping its "just" that.

Pumping the clutch a few times seems to settle it though.

Mines fine currently but, if i get towards 300bhp then i think the RS route will be best.

surely there are other clutches out there that don't have a "RS" part code and are cheaper and could be just as good? Or am i missing something. Haven't gone this deep into modifying Focus's

Will have a dig around and see what i can find out. Here's hoping you are right as the RS part is quite expensive.

I asked a guy who has a paddle clutch if that was a good option, and he advised me to go down the RS clutch route as the paddle one was eating through his flywheel, lol, and said RS clutch is more than enough for around 300.
