RIP my first car (2001 Renault Megane Coupé 1.6)

Makes me think of people who insure log-books just to build up NCB.....

Its a system - play it.;)

Nice one OP for killing another French car.:D

not sure mate, wee bro took that picture. don't think so though.

You'd need to have a very good look at the suspension on that wheel, but i'd say that that is very repairable.

Provided there isn't massive suspension damage you'll get that back on the road for about £300, the hard bit will be finding panels the right colour.

LOL, not crashed many cars then if that's all you think is bent.

That's cattle trucked

Well you don't know till you look do you?

Someone at the yard dropped a wheel off a lorry and it hit someone's Fabia. The wing looked much like that one, but there's nothing underneath to damage.

That whole suspension strut will be well out of shape. It's a scrap.

Maybe. Got to be worth checking though hasn't it?

Give over. The top suspension mount is completely caved in, there will be nowhere to bolt the new strut. FFS

Yeah, that's what I meant lol. The mount.

Can see it's well out of shape under there. Take more than £300 to sort that thing out properly.

Wouldn't have done if it were just panels, but yes it does look like there's probably more damage underneath.

Still, it's always best not to be knee-jerk about these things and assume that crash=scrap :)

Cattle trucked is an understatement!

Scrap it.

(No knee-jerks were used in the creation of this post. )

I didn't have a knee-jerk reaction, I saw the photo and spent seconds deciding it was ready for scrap.

Lamp posts when hit side one tend to destroy cars once and for all, As the damage is rarely just panel damage.
