Haven't played in 2 weeks! My poor priest is still stuck around 67ish. I was going to roll a dps/tank class as well but I should probably just focus on the priest. :(

Yeah I tried to get the one for iPhone/iPod Touch, but because I have a 1st gen iPod Touch, it doesn't work. And I also can't seem to find any Authenticators anywhere.

The only problem here is though yes your WoW account is now safe, your online banking/shopping accounts might not be, and since you have an authenticator you wouldn't be alerted to a keylogger or such on your system until they have cleared out your bank account which is much worse to lose than your WoW account.
 
Where is the best place to purchase wow & expantions? been looking about at battlechest its £57 for all of em

I have moved on since then.

Much better implementation of malware, anti virus and other programs on my PC.

Nuked the old with a deletion of everything before (software wise) re-building it from scratch.
 
Anyone here use Prat and know how to configure it?
Im trying to get it so the only thing it does is increase the height of the chat window 2 fold.
But instead its stopped me left clicking on someone to chat and the 'height' function in it does sod all! :(

Or preferably, know of an addon that'll do just that?

Agreed its not a Prat function. Right-click the tab at the top called general and unlock the window, move it where you want and you'll be able to resize it by dragging the bottom right corner. :)

Prats only good for copy-paste really. Still awesome though.
 
I'm starting to get bored of WoW again :/ I don't know what to do, the Guild (That I'm in) hasn't started raiding and doesn't generally help to gear people up either so I've sorta been level with half decent gear, I was levelling my professions but got bored of that :p I want to start a new character but I feel as though I would be missing out if the Guild start to do anything

Cant you get a ginvite for your alt and log over to your main if anyone starts to do anything like a heroic etc?
 
I like WoW loot rules compared to what they used to be (everyone taking everything no matter what) so that now it is what you equip dependant i.e. plate can only get plate etc.

They need to take it a step further and dependant on your dungeon role i.e. if you are a deeps you can only need on deeps gear even if it is your type of equipment.

This came about as I was running some normal Cata instances last night and as a plate wearing dps the amount of times tanks ninja plate dps gear is unreal.

Had an axe I needed took twice, plate legs twice and a neck once. The tanks reasoning everytime? I need it for levelling.

So was running Throne of Tides for the third or fourth time, the legs drop again the tank ninjas again. I was polite about it but asked why he took it?

"I need it for levelling."
"Well I need it for dungeons, its the best I can get before heroics"
"So what, I need it for levelling"

I fumed but didn't say anything. Next boss a tank trinket drops, which I promptly roll need for and win, just to teach the guy a lesson and my god the explosion of nerd rage. It went something along the lines of...

"WHAT THE **** ARE YOU DOING YOU NOOB?!??! (all in caps) ITS A TANK ITEM!! I NEED IT!!"
"Just like I needed the legs?"
"I needed the legs for levelling as well you noob!"
"So its ok for you to ninja for an item you don't actually need for a dungeon but not for me?"
"But I NEED it for levelling... blah blah"

Another few minutes of abuse before the healer and the rest of the deeps point out as well that if the tank wants to roll on off spec so should everyone else be able to. He screamed some more and left. Funillly enough I dont have a tank OS I just wanted him to know what it feels like, I ended up giving the trinket to the mage to disenchant.

Really annoys me the memememeeeeeeeeee attitude of players. From now on I am going to start taking tank peices as soon as they drop in case a dps peice drops. Then I will offer a trade to the tank for the dps (will give it to him anyway at the end if no dps gear drops) because I am just sick of the ninjaing and being left in the lurch.

I feel like a nasty sod doing it though which annoys me even more :p

Agreed! It's a community man, help people out. I was in an instance yesterday and some guy had two rare 1h maces, and we had a dps warrior all in greens, just levelling gear. A nice 1h sword dropped and the guy with the maces stole the sword off the warrior because it had about 2dps more than one of his maces, rather than letting the guy who desperately needed it have it. Shocking!
 
Im not guilded so just run instances with the dungeon finder . 99% of the time its a mix of people from other shards so its ninja heaven . As a dk im collecting 2 sets . dps and tank gear but i never take tanking gear from the tank unless he has it already . But the last few runs the tanks have been trying to take all the dps plate . So now its a free for all and i will roll on tank gear if they think its fine to take dps gear .

Last night i took the tank trinket from the last boss in stonecore because the tank was rolling need on everything . Trouble is with no guild i dont have a lot of options and if they want to ninja then so will i .
 
Left my old guild as they were trying to press me back into raiding, i really cant commit atm so it wouldn't be fair on either party and we would end up at odds with each other anyay.

Ended up joining a "casual" guild who so far seem to be a bunch of competent players and nice people, i'm not doing heroics or anything atm im busy farming gold and levelling other characters.
