***The Official Gran Turismo 5 Thread***

Done Like the wind, at a cost of just £64k spent doing up my Zonda. Set my gears to a max 0f 267 (?), hitting about 255 at times.

Yer I was topping out a bit easy but couldn't be bother changed it. Think I did it in about 3 goes after a bit of strategic blocking :p

I was always wearing about blowing £800k on the ZR1 which I wouldn't use that much. I've now got £5.4mill in the bank (with no grinding really) on level 21 as the only expensive car I've bought so far was my Murcielago.

My X2010 is down on power how much does an engine refurb cost :)

*sits down*

500k, same as the F GT and Toyota Minolta 88C-V

Mine is down about 100bhp, still got enough though :p

silly question but how does one obtain the X 2010?

Get to level 30, either A or B spec, that unlocks the Vettel challenge. Bronze those in A spec to win one.
Or get to Level 35 B spec and you win one :)

Ask xBling - he will sell you one it seems :p

Quick question - will my standard save be affected if I borrowed a mates sig edition disc to attempt to get those special bonus cars?

ps3ud0

Also you get very little money, but a huge amount of exp, 3 races is a level up, and you dont even need to be playing.. perfect xp grind imo.
True, and it's a perfectly acceptable grind for B spec but why anyone would want to replay A spec endurances is beyond me :p I'm 28 A, 31 B now and my A probably won't be get past 29 looking at the races available.

Still unable to do the FGT. Think I'll be giving up on this game now. Endurances hold no desire for me.

Or you could come play online!
There is currently a room running
The room number is 1472-4711-0038-4892-1186
everyone come play!

Haha, good money, don't knock it.

I thought that those cars were DLC? And therefore linked to a PSN account.

By the way, in A-Spec is there a way of viewing the other drivers cars rather than their names?

I don't care if my mum's driving behind me unless she in a RB X2010 :p

You can do it in B-Spec but not noticed anything in A-Spec.

That's an option I'd like too. Like you say, who cares what their name is, I'd much rather know what car they're in.

Down to the last level of B-Spec remaining now, but it is going to take some time. Repeating the 24h endurance is the fastest way. I'm out of a job tomorrow so B-Spec is only going to get overnight usage.

If anyone is curious, 7.5m exp required to hit the magical 40. To hell with doing that in A-Spec.

Highlighted in yellow it's wrong

2.2 mil XP for the 24 hour race
1.1 mil XP for 9 hours of tsubuka

so over 7 days on 24 hour races you would net 15.4 mil of XP, If you solely ran the tsubuka race it would net you 19.8 mil of XP

So i've reverted back to doing the 9 hour races

That's extremely strange, for repeating the 9 hours of Tsukuba it gives me 846k and the 24h endurance 2.3m :confused::confused:
