mine gets toasty when playing angry birds, i would only start worrying if it shuts off

Yeh, thats fair enough. It only really started getting hot after i used a benchmark software on it lol. but its never shut off on me so far...

Ever since going to Oxygen 2 i've not had any notification icons. Not with texts or with missed calls (it goes orange right?)

Could it be borked?

It may need some work from the developer of Touchdown to get it to work with Gingerbread (2.3). A lot of console emulators needed an update.

Hi Guys

I have been meaning to do it for a while now but does anyone know of a good guide to put a good 2.2 Rom on my phone? It is rooted with a pretty standard 2.1 Rom at the moment. Also it was orginally an orange branded handset so i don't want to be up **** creek if i get pin locked out of it or the WiFi doesnt work.

Any help would be much appreciated

khaaaaaaaaaaaan! did a good guide on rooting, but for roms you will find them all here. loads of 2.2 standard and modded, also some gingerbread ones (2.3) a lot of the chaps here are using oxygen

dunno what has been mentioned on batteries really, not a great deal. if you think you have an issue with yours try htc, im sure its still in warranty

Im pretty much the same. I only get notification LED when I receive a text. Nothing for miss calls. Pretty annoying so much so that its a bye bye to Oxygen and a big hello to Leedroid!

Im using ReflexSense HD rom, quite like it, what i like best over the old sense is the camera app

i just put oxygen v2.0-RC6 and loads of apps from the market fail to install.

Nope, rc6 is so far flawless for me.

You should flash the new Market too, it's just better.
