Pc gaming comes to consoles?

DG is a cod player and so believes using engine bugs, glitches and modifying the game to give yourself an unfair advantage is fine because anyone could do it if they were an equal dick.

might not be that much but a best part of a grand for a decent gaming pc versus 200 for a console.

name the last two years games on pc that are soley pc that are big games ? you know what im saying we are playing mainly console games on our pcs .

i have a few gaming pcs but as the keyboards become normal on consoles i see more pluses than negitives.

im not pro pc or pro console im a video gamer and i just play them on whatever is better or easiest.

its only the same. everyone once the product launches has the same chances if they buy one whether you choose to buy one is your choice.

ive said my reasons for wanting one its nothing to do with being leet its to do with games working straight out the box , not that many i know now are fps gaming like they used to , fps gaming in general on pc has taken a large nosedive and is hack ridden. thegraphics arnt that different and its so simple easy gaming. i will still game on pc but just less.

I'd assumed you could already do this lol. Looks interesting, and I imagine it would provide a massive advantages in games like COD, but I can't really see this attracting many PC gamers over to consoles.

Keyboards aren't normal on consoles. Other than these little devices there's no signs of effort being put in by the developers to support them "as normal" either.

If you're having to spend money to buy an adapter that has to fool the console into thinking it's using a regular controller, that's not normal...

I'd use what ever device the games were designed for, that everyone else was using on an even playing field. To be honest though, I'd still be playing my FPS games on the PC...

Wow some idiotic replies in this thread, using a mouse and Keyboard same as hacking/cheating?? I take it any kind of rational thought escapes you.

If this worked I would use it and maybe move a lot more to the consul, I own both the Xbox and Ps3 & have never played any game more than 10 minutes as I'm rubbish with the controllers.

If this works and we can use keyboard and mouse brilliant, and everyone has the same choice to get a keyboard & mouse.

End of the day this will be a damn sight cheaper than upgrades every couple years.

O dear the xbox boys are going to get owned haha. But their is already a device out. The 360 XIM. If im also being honest theirs a lot of devices out for the xbox for a k+m and all have failed. The XIM 360 works the best as the software uses the pc so it replicates more or less perfect mouse control.

Bout 90 quid i think. This device will also be very expensive. They said it came out for the ps3. Maybe looking at the review will tell us how good it really is.

Well.. it isn't the next logical step, the majority of the market are still going to want to play console games slumped on the sofa in front of a big TV, not at their desk. Neither MS or Sony are going to pander to the tiny minority, especially when they can flog peripherals to their customers.

I'd bet big money it wont be natively supported in games for the next generation of consoles

a lot of the older ones are not great and not the same as fps keyboard gaming on pc but the newer variants are very close and the xim ones are almost identical but you pay a premium price for those.

I have a PS3 and a lot of my friends play on it. If that PS3 adapter works well i would get it. However their are not enough decent reviews done by pc gamers.

I would get this to have a laugh with friends. Pc is more serious for me.

I don't see a problem here. If Sony/MS consider it cheating they can just stop the adapters from working.

Besides, you can't really compare it to hacking - hacking gets you banned and this doesn't, so clearly somebody is condoning this
