*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

I'm tempted to jump back to Leedroid. Miss the camera features.. Might stick to sense until a proper Gingerbread rom is released.

How long until a Gingerbread Sense rom? :D

Still reading around people reporting varying battery performance, using what I mentioned earlier on oxygen I've gotten a better idea of how far my battery lasts now:

That's after playing wordfeud, watching youtube vids, emailing, texting and so on. Data on 2G only, wifi on at all times.

So my findings are that wifi on all the time is a lot better for battery life compared to 3G! And Oxygen uses the Wireless N module too so I imagine the normal Wireless G module would be even better as I don't think there's any need for N on a mobile device.

Right then, somebody call me silly if I've missed another obvious thing, but...

How do I set the vibrate pattern for texts or e-mails? I'm sure I used to be able to do it. Want to be able to distinguish them when it's in my pocket or whatever.

Running Oxygen "Test".

Leedroid? Can't be using anything but 2.3 now lol, too many neat touches to ditch!

Also, latest Radio and RIL have definitely improved 3G signal for me, getting 3 bars where I used to get 2 and battery so far looks better.

Got a weird one for you. Running Oxygen RC6 (or whatever the latest one is) and woke up at 4.45 this morning to my phone constantly switching between the lock screen and the oxygen logo (like when you turn it on). Only way to stop it was to pull the battery (not fun in the dark and still half asleep) carried on as normal after that.

you can hold power+volume down+trackpad instead of pulling the battery

i've only had that boot looping once when i was testing all the notification toggles after i installed my theme, didnt give the phone time to load everything else up 1st though.

Anyone had any problems with any of the buttons on their phone?

My home button has gone very soft, no firm click like the others, doesnt look like its sitting any lower than the others either.

I haven't tried a 2.3 ROM but I just can't get away without using Sense.

I've noticed in the past couple of weeks that my 'back' button requires a firmer press to work.

Has anyone SIM unlocked their HTC Desire? I'm going to Canada in a few months and thought it might be easier to get a cheap PAYG SIM for browsing the net while I'm over there than paying Vodafone's stupid overseas data rates.

Yeah I have there is some services you can buy online, cheapest I found was £15.
Very simple just send them your IEM number and they will send back instruction and unlock code which you type it on the phone once you have a different sim ready and it's all done.
