Well yeah but they've just got Ruud and Adebayor in.
I thought the Ruud thing was a no go at the moment, meaning they've got Adebayor, and thats assuming he passes the medical, then Benzema. I think Mourinho was unhappy in summer with Higauin and Benzema, insisting he needed another player, so I doubt he'd get one striker in and let one go.
He hates Benzema though, he's been utter rubbish, and not really sure why Spurs would get him, after a big money move to Real he'll be on a huge salary, one they can't match(or shouldn't) and frankly he's been so poor they could be getting a crap striker.
Better options who'll want less wages, they could even, insanely, start playing Pav more often
Footie 365
Over the last 38 PL games, Tottenham's strikers have scored 19 goals. Ten of those were scored by Roman Pavlyuchenko.
Pav 5 goals 801 minutes in the league.
Crouch 1 goal 1315 minutes
Defoe 0 goals, 500 ish mins,
Keane 0 goals 226 minutes.
Why Pav hasn't started more games I don't know, he's miles and miles ahead of Crouch, Keane with some actual games, consistancy and being played upfront might even score a bit, not even 3 games, spread across a load of performances and does he still get played on the wing more than upfront?
Spurs have better options at their own club. Benzema would be an insane risk to bring in, he's got to be on over 100k a week, why would Spurs pay that for someone whose been crap for 18 months.
