Posh Haircuts - Tip the hair washer / head massager?

So, I am expecting a bit of beef for getting 'posh' haircuts but I like then so.

I go to this place in Reading and the same chick has been cutting my hair for a while and apart from being fit, she is their top stylist.

Costs me an arm and a leg but I think it is worth it.

Anyway, I always get some trainee girl, or even occasionally a dude :eek:

, washing my hair. You get a standard head massage when the conditioner is in as well. Nearly always sends me to sleep but that is besides the point.

My question is, should I be tipping them? I tip my hairdresser a fiver, but am wondering what the protocol is for the head washer?

Should I tip them? Do they expect me / hope I tip them?

I never do btw.

That's how much I pay too ... wouldn't dream of paying so much for a haircut that £5 seems a reasonable tip!

Well actually in a way I do tip my hair washer a lot ... I wash my hair and I often by myself stuff

Clippers are not allowed anywhere near my head. I like a proper hand cut chop.
