This thread was a kind of....look at me, im so good I get abused wasn't it?

To get 3 or 4 abusive messages on your average 6 hour stint says a couple of things to me......
1. You have to much free time on your hands to be playing for 6 hours on an "average stint"
2. Your playing call of duty and hiding in a room with a claymoor mine at the door and killing people from the same spot to get your killstreaks......for this you deserve the abuse

Whoever called you a god must be as stupid as you are for making such a meat head thread!.......

I remember MW2 on the PC, the amount of abuse you would get going with Akimbo G18's. All it would do would make me kit Akimbo G18's on all load outs just to annoy them more

I've had a few messages in the past. I generally just ignore them and report whoever sent them.
I've sent a few to people who were using the wallhack on MW2.

No it wasn't. I suggest you re-read the OP, it was for people to share interesting or otherwise entertaining stories. Do you not have any? Perhaps this thread isn't for you then.

Not necessarily, I'm willing to bet that many people on here have had plenty of long gaming sessions. And so what if he has that amount of time to play games? You don't know his personal situation, and likewise we don't know yours, so let's not get personal ok?

Nobody has called him god, although his sig does state that I am god, which I have no problem with

Oh, and as mentioned previously, let's not get personal. Calling anyone stupid, especially a member of the moderating team, definitely isn't a good idea.

I've had a few, mostly from Street Fighter.

I always found it fun to irritate the annoying players, or the ones who don't play properly. For example I was playing the second campaign in Left 4 Dead on expert before, one guy was nice and friendly and a really good player, the other two were the types who would run away and leave you given the chance, steal all the health kits and weapons and then shoot you and kill you 'accidentally'. By the late stages the nice guy couldn't take it anymore and left and was replaced by another one of their friends. They kept talking about how this was the only campaign they couldn't do on expert, so I put up with all the grief until the finale.

They had already killed me earlier in the level but I respawned as the finale started, I managed to stay out of trouble and let them deal with everything. Just as the second tank came I made my way to the dock ready for the rescue boat, they killed the tank and were delighted that they had finally finished this campaign but just as they got to the dock I mowed them down with the machine gun and got on the boat by myself.

The amount of abuse I got over the mic and through random messages for a while was awesome, well worth it though.

Only ever had one myself. And i had it probably because i told a guy on COD Black Ops to stop swearing and having a go at everyone on the team (who he seemed to think were camping) straight after the game got a message with mostly swearing on it. Odd thing was at a guess he sounded like he was in his 30's at least. Anyway promptly reported his ingame language and the message. Hopefuly he got some kind of ban

I've had one on Black Ops (360) because I was stood still for 30 seconds at the start of the match whilst I went to get a drink.

Had none on any game on the PS3. Considering I barely played Black Ops really and most of my online time is on the PS3, that says it all for me about a) the 360 userbase and b) the Black Ops community. Hateful bunch.

Cant say anything about the PS3 userbase not having a PS3. But in General i find the people i come across on Xbox tend to be fine, very rarely do i hear many idiots, maybe im just lucky that way or the times i play mean i avoid them. Tend to play 9pm - Midnight rarely any other times.

got accused of cheating recently in black ops in a game where I was awful. why he thought I was cheating I will never know.

mostly though I get invites to do no scoping matches from randoms ive played matches with i just ignore them as they are probably boosting. I cant see the fun running around with a sniper rifle like that anyway.

I'm not going to get into a public dispute with you. Your intentions for posting in the thread were clearly to add nothing of any use/relevance, known as trolling. I suggest you think prior to posting in future.

Only ever got rage messages when playing mw2. Can't think of any other game with as many angry kids playing, maybe Halo but I've never been good enough at Halo to get anyone hating on me.

Trolling is not what was going on in my reply. My reply was related to the subject topic its just you don't like my opinion on the subject....not to mention the fact that you took it all so serious! "meat head thread" its not a serious remark is it? its light hearted....I was wrong in saying stupid but thats about it.

I have been online gaming for years mate so yeah I can relate to this post....I have had and seen abuse being thrown out to good players and bad players for years from online gaming to LAN tournaments where people are physically hurt over it! so I can honestly say I have seen with my eyes how badly people take losing at a game! I just see the thread as a slight ego boost, im entitled to my opinion, its a forum so maybe you should try and not let things get to you so badly.....
