*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

Yeah, I've definately been unlucky, no doubt there. I'm just a little concerned given some of the long term feedback from others with this issue where some have seen the issue return, even after a mainboard replacement.
You probably can't blame me when 3 out of 3 have developed a fault so far, of no fault of my own (if I had killed it, that'd have been another story)

Anyone in here use Redux? Just been monitoring the thread, I like the way the developer is much more vocal than AdamG (probably because the thread is more manageable at the moment) but notice it's blighted by all the bootloops like Oxygen. That really needs fixing!

not tried that rom, but the bootloop problem is a 2.3 AOSP problem apparently, also affects the nexus s. awaiting an android fix.

Was reading this - it's a pretty bad bug to have with a new phone! Maybe that means more resources will be put into fixing it.

yeah, could be why the 2.3 OTA for the nexus one hasnt happened?

i've only had that loop once awhile back when i was testing all my notification toggles straight after a boot (it hadnt finished loading everything i think).

i think i've been very lucky, going by all the posts on XDA!

Does anyone else get rubbish wifi signal strength using Oxygen? I've tried at least 5 radio images now, and a couple of different kernels, but it's still crap.

What combination of radio, ril and kernel have people found to be the best for them?

My Wifi signal strength doesn't show as being brilliant but it seems to work happily so I'm not that fussed.

My battery life seems pretty abysmal though, although I've noticed that it might have been syncing my Exchange mail so I've turned that off to see if it helped. I'm down to 21% though and it's only been unplugged from charging since 7am, with about 5 texts sent and no other real activity other than Weather and Latitude updating. Oh well

My splash screen if anyone wants, let me know and I'll host:

Im not having any problems with Oxygen at all, im on RC7 with kernel-Oxygen_Exp-110121-1124001-signed, radio 32.54.00.32U_5.14.05.17.

Using GPS test i just picked up 6 satellites in 2 seconds, i get decent wifi and phone signal.

With RC7 Oxygen i'm having the occasional problem where people can't hear me speak on the phone. I have to hang up and ring them again

could this be a problem with the radio i'm using?
