*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

My Work mate just dropped my Desire.

The screen is fine but the AMOLED behind it has cracked and now the screen is ****ked. No insurance too!

He's paying but its brutal having no phone :(

gutted - I've done that once - still think it's cheaper than paying insurance...

Of course, £2 a month for insurance works out so much more than buying a new phone

I find this thread odd now. Since RC7 Oxygen has just died, we keep getting promises of the release from Google but nothing yet (?). What used to be a thread which would pickup 4 pages of posts in a day with new ROMs and stuff is now dying :(

£2/ Month sounds pretty good - T-Mobile charge £15 a month and on a 24 Month contract that outweighs the value of the handset.

No need for the sarcasm...

Regarding Oxygen, the guy is waiting for the next OTA from Google before proceeding with further updates.

Uh, it's far from dying.

The only reasons why this thread is going slow is because most ROMS are getting less and less features since we haven't had the OTA update for the Nexus 1. Which also is the reason why the Oxygen ROM seems "Dead" (he is just waiting on the OTA update).

You can however, try out the test build where he fixes the bugs every week or so.

its true. the cookers have hit a sticky point and most now are waiting for OTA update to the nexus1, once that is out the kitchen will be full of smells again
