It's the lost genres I miss. The MechWarrior sims and space combat sims like Wing Commander and X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter. I'd love to see a modern Wing Commander style game based on the Battlestar Galactica universe.

FPS are okay... but after a few years of playing Quake, Unreal Tournament and Half Life they became pretty dull. Kinda sad how unimaginative game developers are these days.

Space combat sims... Brings a tear to my eye.

Titles like X-Wing/Conflict Freespace would be considered to complex for gamers now, and niche developers wouldn't have the budget to really go to town on one. Sad, when you think would they could do with modern hardware.

TFC for me as well. Being part of a clan was a great laugh, the community was excellent.

Still miss clan matches and late night 8v8. Watching the euro champs on hltv was fun, apart from the Finns winning all the time (damn you Eagle etc).

I remember westie and defrag being top players (and i think it was defrag who used to amaze us on what he had eaten while watching a match on hltv )

without a doubt ! Awesome game, i can still remember specific gaming moments playing that clear as anything

Virtual Pool (used to play in an online league, and won vouchers on Wireplay lol, i bought an mx2 graphics card (i think it was?) with them lol)

Black hawk down .........i played it on single player without a graphics card,
( didnt know what one was at the time ) it was only when a relative showed me the online side (and what a graphics card was lol) did i loose many many hours of my life.

i have lost many many more since then as i have moved on through games and better pc's
