I think I have summed it up perfectly, we are overclocking a spectrum of settings not just like the older CPUs......fixed Max speed
I would not say it's frustrating as much as challenging
You still don't say what CPU you have ?
Sorry 2500k OEM

Guys, Still unable to get Windows to boot with the 46x multi.
Any change someone can take some screen shots using the 46x multi and above too see if I am missing something?
Or the 1.40 biosAre you running 1.33a Beta bios? If not then flash to it and enable PLL Overvoltage.
This is incorrect.
Care to elaborate?
'This is incorrect' doesn't help much, any names of boards/software as I would be interested in this myself.
Also it is very disappointing not to be able to use the windows software to overclock. It makes ASRock look like they can build great hardware but suck when it comes to software.
But if you change multi you have to reboot. As far as I am aware the other manufacturers manage to have this feature working just fine..

I have the P67 Professional board and I am current running the Beta 110G bios, I have also tried the official 1.50 bios.
Both of these have the PLL Overvoltage option but it doesn't help if it is on or not.
Starting to think it might just be my 2500k![]()
Are you using the lastest 1.34 verson of the ASRock Extreme Tuning Utility..Its quite weird, sometimes I can lower it some times I cannot. Sometimes I can go up one notch... most of the time you change it then hit apply... it comes up in red asking you to reboot. it is mentioned in many of the reviews I have read as well.
Don't know went version 1.34 was put on there website as the dates seem to be mixed upI am at work at the moment, but it was the latest on the site about a week ago now.

I would guess any reviews would been using the older 1.33 or before version
Tells which version your using in the bottom Left corner
You can adjust the PLL voltage to what you wantI think the PLL overvoltage option is either on or off, just checked and can't see any additional voltage options when it's enabled
