Any protein based drinks that I just add water to? (Can't drink milk)r

you've got the whey isolates which are very low in lactose, theres also pea and hemp protein if you want to avoid dairy completely
 
I can't really give any advice on the hemp or pea proteins FF's your man for that as I know hes used them
 
is it choice or medical reason for not drinking dairy fella?

there are some other protein powders (as you have now found), no idea if they are any good, just know that a lot of them taste foul!

Well I've been diagnosed with an intolerance to dairy but that's not the main reason. I find all dairy products give me spots / pimples :(

So unfair considering it's the best food group ever!

I would say pure glutamine.

Protein powders are a waste of money really. Just eat some scrambled eggs. You don't need as much protein as the propaganda tells you.

Protein powders are only a waste of money if you're using them to replace proper foods. Best to use first thing in the morning and after a workout. Also a life saver when in a rush.

Drinking whey with milk just defeats the purpose of taking whey. It takes longer to digest with milk, just add water and down it quickly.

I always use milk + What ever flavouring i wish to add, be it a bannna or a few spoons of milo.

Whey+water is the devil :p

Not really, depends how quickly you need the protein. PWO I take it with water, during the day with milk for the extra added nutrients.

Come on get real there's no bodybuilders on this forums (I've seen the pics thread), just recreational weight lifters. Do you go down to the park in your David Beckham strip and tell everyone you're a footballer?

Wow, thank you for this insight.

Can you please give me some more information about this? Should I use 2 eggs, or 1 because of the cholesterol?
