Possible Test Drive Unlimited 2 information!

I will probably do as many achievements as I can be bothered to do and then sell it/trade it. I'll wait until they have fixed the servers of course, but I'm not holding out much hope for the game getting better for me personally.

Aye, I will probably get it again on Steam in six months when hopefully they've got everything going. :D
Thought the same thing - more when it becomes cheap on Steam :). Without mods a lot of console games just get 'thrown away', while on the PC they normally get better while theres community support...

ps3ud0

I've finished with all the main races now, gonna start working on the timed missions tomorrow.

I know it has a lot of problems and It shouldn't of been released until everything was spot on but regardless its one of the best games I've played, online when it works is awesome.

Agreed!

I've just been going through the side missions away although the follow ones are pretty annoying.

Edit - Just lost all my casino funds in the casino. Damn bugs.

Does anyone know where I stand regarding returning an opened game to an online retailer? I really can't face starting all over again after losing 59 hours when the game is so obviously broken for so many people and plagued with issues.

Don't think anywhere will take an opened game back mate. As said in this thread, your best bet would to probabaly trade it in and get £35 back for it.

If you really wanted to get a refund, you could return it on the basis that it isn't fit for purpose. If you aren't happy with the game, and can't wait a while for the bugs to be ironed out, return it to the retailer and tell them that it isn't fit for purpose. It is your statutory right to return items that are not of good quality and with everyone making such a big deal out of all the issues, and the official forum posts, you can say that the game is totally broken and useless if you wish. I'd probably take a screenshot of GMDestra's post on the official forum though, highlighting all the problems with it. The retailer will have no choice but to return it.

Despite my post above, which is purely to help out, I don't feel this way about the game. I am enjoying it, I know there are issues but a lot of games have even worse issues and they're still somewhat enjoyable. The graphics really aren't an issue for me, I don't see why people think they're crap. Sure, the animation of the characters on screen isn't brilliant, but it is a driving lifestyle game, it is a rather unique genre and for that I enjoy it. Nothing beats getting into your favourite car (the Atom for me atm) and then just bombing around everywhere at high speed. I loved this about the first, and I am still loving it in the second. In a few weeks all of these issues will be forgotten when they're all fixed, and multiplayer will be in full swing with clubs etc. Yes, they released it a little early and should have tested it, but the game isn't so totally broken that it is useless. Just avoid the bits that don't work until they do. Simple :)

What he said. I have no issues with the game. I have always been online mode had a few races and generally bombing around. Great fun. I like it.

Yes it has issues but those aside it's fun and can only get better.
