Turn on the autosave feature, and make sure to manually save once in a while, the bugs are frustrating but manageable enough (though not justified of course) to get a lot of enjoyment from an otherwise quality game :)

I have to say that if you want easy money and have high luck just play Blackjack. I have 10 luck and I lose a lot at roulette and slots but I always win at Blackjack. :p

I would but I've been banned from every casino. They didn't like my winning ways. Easiest 50,000ish caps I've made. Blackjack is the quickest way to get that cash.

Just wait until after you've recruited the sexbot. Some of it made me laugh.

I'm trying to find the damn factory! Freeside is a maze at times. :(

The guy in Mick & Ralph's said it would be dangerous there, hopefully my hunting rifle will be good enough, got Boone with me though so I'll just run away if there's anything big there. :D

Cerulean Robotics, where the sexbot is right at the end of Freeside. It's in the same section as Mick and Ralph's, you go from there, take the left towards the blue carriage, then I think you go right and follow the path right round.
 
Yeah I just found it now, had to watch a YouTube vid though, I kept getting lost! Fisto! :D

HAHA!!! Oh my! I just left the factory, the Wild Wasteland thing came up in the top right and I was greeted by an old woman saying "Well looky what we've got here ladies, another unsuspecting ponce" I was then jumped by three old women with rolling pins. :D :D :D

Irate Ida, Rancorous Ruth and Malefic Maud. :D

Had to grind to do that. Best way is to get gecko and bighorner steaks. Go to lake las Vegas, next to camp golf, and basically almost drown yourself. When you're health is low consume some steaks until your health is full again. When you run out of steaks, get more. Hunt bighorners near Jacobstown and near Red Rock Canyon. Geckos can be found near goodsprings, vault 34 and Clark field. Drinking water also counts towards the total. Boost your survival skill to as this will allow more HP to be gained from food. Also, the Animal Friend perk helps when hunting as bighorners and golden Geckos will not attack. Fire Geckos will still attack though. Cook the meat at the campfire at Camp Golf then dive back into the lake.

Repeat until you hit the 10000 mark. Not the most fun way but it is the quickest.

You could drink tge lake water but I think that only replenishes 2 HP. Steaks give between 50 and 75 hp. You will need around 150 steaks in total though easier said than done. Banana Yucca Fruit also gives some decent hp. I advise breaking it up though. After every couple of thousand points you get, go down a quest. Will help break up the monotony.
 
Sounds like grinding is the only way to go. Was hoping someone who had just maxed out survival got it without trying (doesn't hurt to hope!)

Have to start my lvl 10 save then if I want to go for the platinum, but it will be the last one I do :D
 
Just got banned from gambling at The Tops, I also met Benny waiting for the elevator and then shot his face off, well, I say shot his face off, it was a joint effort really as Veronica was beating the crap out of him with a power fist at the same time. :p

Not sure what to do next, I'm not doing Mr House's questline yet, I'm only level 10.

I wouldn't do any major quest line at level 10. You will get destroyed. Just go to the various settlements and casinos to get some quests done. Michael Angelo, located in the far side of the strip in his workshop, has an easy quest that nets a load of xp.

Don't think I've been to him before. I was going to do the Come Fly With Me quest but when I did it on PS3 I remember there being Super Mutants and I don't think my Hunting Rifle is up to the task just yet, maybe I should go kill the aliens to get the blaster.
