just remember its only a game at the end of the day, just on it to have some fun and gank loads of people! :)
 
Christ the rift official forums are insane atm you post and it vanishes to page 3 in about 20 seconds :p

I got a feeling this will be unplayable at 6pm tomorrow, there will be too many people in the start areas haha.

New to OcUK, first purchase was only last month.
As you can see by my post count I am not a prolific forum poster but I do read and try to learn as much as I am able from the wealth that is here.

I have been following the development of rift for over a year now with much anticipation. With the beta test I have found it to be more than i hoped for.

Would I be welcome to join you in the OcUK guild you have formed?
Can't think of a group I would be more proud to be a part of.
My MMO background ranges from Anarchy online and EQ2 through the inevitable WoW and most recently Aion, as well as a dabble with Discworld mud.
I will playing a Cleric Apothecary as i have experience as a healer, enjoy ranged dps and pots are useful to everyone.

Trying to convince myself to preorder Rift, looks great from videos I've seen and reviews I've read, however I need some final persuasion!

Is it worth it? :p

Now a member :) We can use character names as forum names once they are created right? Never used guild launch so not sure how some stuff works.

Should have seen what the start areas were like at the beginning of the last beta - people were standing around waiting for mobs to spawn and just mashing tab to auto-target one and start attacking lol
 
I have some character names in mind, just hope I can log in on time to nab them! Whats the chance we'll actually be able to login at 6pm..?

The internets are suggesting that this is a popular game so logging in at 6 on the dot might be hit or miss. I'll be on mumble anyway to listen to all the moaning about log ins with a can of Stella. :D:D

But you never know, this could be a smooth one ...

Edit: You can actually log in now, but you can only watch the new intro.
 
Probably won't bother attempting to get in tonight as I suspect it will be hell (also it's looing like clear skies for a bit tonight at last and I need to put my new telescope throught it paces :D )

I just read that the Dev's at Trion are watching the numbers very closely. It makes sense not to add too many servers because the numbers might fall drastically after the first week or after the 30day free time. But at the same time they want everybody to have a good trouble free launch, so we might see a couple added later on.
