Well to be honest with you all
I am now going to roll on a en pve server Blightwield defiant side as it has the most uk/eu English speaking guilds on there from what I had read anyway

Until it all settles down that is.
 
Yes, don't think it is a free for all from the get go. The first part of the map is safe so unless you put pvp on your are safe. You will be about level 20 before you go to contested areas, so you will get a hang of things by then.

By doing pvp and such things, you will work up to being able to "afford" some nice stuff.
 
You can get good stuff from PvP. People can also drop random epic items when you kill them ( not what they are wearing but from a random loot table )
 
im signed up to the guild forum and everything but thinking about rolling on a different server, ever since whitefall was advertised as *the place to be for uk players* they're predicting hours of queues at 6pm :(

Although considering how smooth the beta was still in the back of my mind im hoping trion might be able to pull off a smooth launch.

Well it isn't the "place to be for UK players" it is the "Place to be for UK PvP players who can't put up with Russians spamming chat in Russian"

I hope you do stay with us as I'm sure there will be queues for many servers, but here you have a group of very fun people to play with.

It’s launch night, it’s going to be busy on all of them! I can’t envisage any server having low numbers at least for a week of so.

People will stop playing, join friends on other servers etc.

ok, just looking on the offical forums, whitefall has like 2000+ posts, the others around 300, its gonna be busy :p

There are only 2 pvp servers so they are both going to be jammed. Cloudborn is where most of the Russian community (as well as some swedish guilds) are going though.
 
They'll just have to release a cple more servers. If they do then whats the feeling about whether to reroll on the new servers? I would hope that they introduce a russian server to help with the text spam too.

Ah, tbh I'd rather stay on the busy UK server than be on a fractionally less busy Ruskie one. As you say, they are all going to be jammed.
