The new Orange Android phone (San Francisco) £99...but a Question??

JJ rom works well for me, and i happen to be on the three network as well now i can get 3g at work, bye bye rip off orange.

The JJ Rom seemed to be unlocked for all networks anyway. At least when I put my 3 sim in it just booted straight to the home screen. SHould I have unlocked before flashing initially?

I can live with the issues for the speed boost, everything just feels that little bit more responsive, and hopefully things can only get better.

Yeah, I'm normally the same, can't remember the last thing I bought, but the OTA update's just so simple, couldn't help myself, lol! :p

For me CM7 was a whole lot more sluggish and choppy in the menus than any of the Froyo roms and with CM7 draining my battery in around 10 hours it was just too much.
 
Switch to CM7 N12, liking it so far. Out of curiosity, used to use JuiceDefender on Froyo but that doesn't work for 2.3, anyone got a decent replacement that will ideally disable data on screen off and enable on screen on?
 
Bought one of these today because I wanted an Android phone and while I wait for the Samsung S2 to come out.

Loving the Jellyfish rom at the moment.
 
Hey guys,
I have a Nokia 5800 which is showing it's age now and was looking at the white sanfran which you can get for £99.00 if I buy that can I pull my sim out of my Nokia and stick it in the sanfran - I'll check out some guides for unlocking etc.

I take it the white version I'll be able to remove the Orange interface which I'm not keen on, and put some more stock / nicer interface / os on?

Thanks Tim, I'll get one ordered now.

My lady has a Desire and playing with that and going back to my Nokia even for simple texts etc drives me mad... :)

hopefully the San Francisco will get me somewhere near what she has.

Either way, it should be an improvement until I get a Tegra 2 based phone at some point in the future.
