Personally other than the slick hardware I don't see anything that makes me want to go out an buy one. On the same side tho I really can't bring myself to buy a Xoom - there's just something about the pricing versus the functionality that doesn't ring true for me so the end result is sitting tight. The device that really stands out for me at the moment is the ASUS Transformer. But time will tell - for now my HTC Desire provides the sofa surfing capability, albeit on a small screen - so I can afford to wait.
In my eyes it seems to be a common story for Apple - produce a product that launches a market and then fail to keep up with the competition, strangle it's OS and then screw it's developers and customers through it's charges and ongoing fees.
Epic hardware, beautiful UI, crazy good marketing - really poo OS and rubbish way of treating both customers and developers... it's not a brilliant combination IMO.
