ITT: successful marketing
So I'd rather pay £40 for something which are meant to be better quality.
Who would actually pay £100 for a pair of jeans anyways...? There is little difference between ones that cost £20 apart from a label.
Agreed. In my experience, people who harp on about how cheap goods are 'just as good' as expensive goods are, generally, not in a position to be able to afford the expensive goods.thats rubbish imo
Some good offers on that site, love The Republic, was going to splash some cash but the add to basket seems to be broken (add one item move onto the next and the first item get removes from my basket)![]()
works fine for me (IE9)

SizeUK is an organisation owned by many of the biggest retailers.
You can see who they are at the following link.
http://www.sizemic.eu/products-and-services/size-survey-data.html
The last major survey was published by them in 2004. The average mens size at that point was 37". As obesity is on the increase it is reasonable to assume the average is slightly above that now. You can see the data at the following link.

aswell as the increase in quality, it's also the huge range of fits that a higher end denim label offer, i can go into the Levi stor in brum and try on 4 pairs of jeans before i find one thats right and fits perfectly....

Well that's completely untrue if you know what you're buying.
I know what I am buying because I shop for them in the store, I feel the material. I don't try them on, however I check the waist, length and that's good enough for me. If you shop online..how do you know what you're buying will fit? Details like I read them in store.
