Hmm, that's weird Kreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

You can update a number of ways, I use Android Flasher, you can also use Recovery if you're not on a custom HBOOT yet (stock) or ADB as well. I think there's an app to do it as well similar to ROM Manager.
 
Just installed CM7, first thing I noticed is how basic a contact is now compared to sense. Is there an easy way to get facebook profile pictures linked to contacts?
 
Yes, install the Facebook app and sync with existing contacts. Mine shows their FB picture if they have not set a Gmail picture themselves or I have not in Gmail under contacts.

Twitter also works with profile pics.

Is android flasher the thing that does boot screens etc etc?
 
Khaan, I've checked the box 'Sync with existing contacts' within facebook and forced a resync but I still have no photos in in my contacts. Any ideas?
 
Yes Android flasher does radio, boot, splash etc.

LiE, hmm not sure what else to check really, you could force a resync of facebook I guess but I never had to do this!
 
I seem to have an issue with my Desire on LeeDroid 2.3d

Over time, Launcherpro just seems to get slower and slower and sometimes hangs just waiting for itself to refresh

Is it normal for the Desire to slow down over time??? Not got a massive amount of apps on there and using the EXT partition on a 16GB card.
 
I think I've figured it out. Some had synced but some where the names differed weren't being matched.

Odd, mine has been doing this over the past few days, and I have to force close it.

Running CM7 on mine though.

I've wiped Dalv cache this morning and things seem to be OK at the minute.
 
Guys, wondered if someone could help.

My brother has a Desire, a few weeks ago I rooted it for him and flashed on the latest Modaco rom. He was amazed at how fast it was.

Today he said it was running slow and had low memory messages, I had a look and he had 14mb free phone memory and the thing is crawling. He has installed all his apps and games onto the SD card. What could be using all the space? How much memory should be free?

Same here with the force closes! Odd that's it's both of us eh.....
 
Data for apps is stored on the internal mem as well as cache data, these can be stored on the SD card but requires the flashing of various scripts (data2sd/ext, cache2ext etc)
