The new Orange Android phone (San Francisco) £99...but a Question??

Upgraded from jj7 to flb g2 trouble is the home widgets are fine, but the default ones have reduced, i want to add one so how to i go about this.

Launcher pro and beautiful widgets will let me add anything, bar the stock san fran ones, i have all the ones i need bar the login one for google.

I can change the size of the power control icons, i just can't seem to add any.

yoyoyo fellas!

im interested in this bargainous device. My gf has one and its good, but (as you'd expect from the price) can be a little jerky / buggy / a bit slow sometimes. Angry birds runs quite slow too. It has the default Orange rom on it though.

So i ask, would a custom rom improve performance massively?
Do you find your phone seamless and faultless with a custom rom?

thanks

I should really upgrade my ROM...Think i'm running "recovery-clockwork-2.5.0.9-modaco-r2-blade" :p

Is there a newer / better version of this? I quite like the layout of this...although i'd love to be able to group items on the main menu or something

Yup it's 3.0.0.6 just grab the zip, whack it on the sd card and install it from boot like you do with rom files.

Works perfectly fine as i did mine yesterday, using the same one you're using

http://android.modaco.com/content/z...clockworkmod-recovery-for-zte-blade-oled-tft/

Also it's non destructive, i also went from jj7 to flb g2 r10? anyway again non destructive just flashed it straight on top.

I prefer flb, though the difference is marginal, i find flb less cluttered, jap jellyfish kinda forces certain bits onto your phone, whilst some are good like app2sd and adguard, others not so.

I wouldn't use cm7 atm, too many bugs and it's a battery killer.

Hmm..May give the top link a go, see how it goes...Phone has crashed a few times and GPs has been a bit odd..So who knows

did you notice anything by changing?

Not really, jap jelly and flb are very little between, like i said i prefer flb as it comes with less clutter. Oh actually my phone hasn't crashed yet, might bump setcpu see it it's more stable.

On a different note, anyone have a look at the zte skate or the apanda a100

Theone, i would choose the sa, better specced.
