It's part of Radio 1's remit that they target the teen/youth market and Moyles is more popular with people in their 20a and 30s, though I think it's more representative of the way people, particularly younger people get access to music. Because of that Moyles doesn't fit in with their target audience.Could they not move him to another slot?
I mean, it just seems that if Moyles is popular why not keep him? Or are the BBC after a shift of direction? 'cause surely Moyles is intelligent enough to understand that he would probably not be as successful without the BBC (re, see Adrian Chiles)
