Audi a3 or BMW 1 series?!

Can't decide on them guys, my budget I'd max £7,000.

Any views on them? I'm 21, leaning towards the BMW at the moment, interior is nice on that model I'm finding.

Why do you want what are considered "boring" cars at such a young age?

Well compared to the "typical" boy racer cars that people of your age usually drive they are.

Why are you considering the 1 series or A3 above something such as a focus, which will do everything these cars do, for less money, is it the 4 Rings or the Blue and white oval attracting you to these cars?

I wouldn't call the 1-series nice looking. It resembles a shoe that's sagged in the middle.

You checked insurance quotes on either? I would suspect they won't be that affordable for a 21-year old.

What else are you looking for in a car, performance, economy, space etc, just that a nice interior alone wouldn't swing it for me personally. What else have you had or is it a first car purchase.

I hate ford interiors with a passion.

Currently got a really really old corsa, 4 gears etc, hate it but using it for my first years ncb.

Want something just nice looking, good interior, smart as I drive to clients and such. Pretty nippy as I'm young

budget doesn't have to be that much was just thinking out allowed.

Something that's not as stale looking as a 1 series or a now very dated A3 Design, something like a newer clio/punto?

The new Punto doesn't look great and is about as nice to be inside as an iron maiden. I've not been in a new Clio though.

The interior of a sub £7k 1 Series is far from 'nice'. Not BMW's finest hour, the pre facelift 1 Series.
