Who's joining the queue for iPad 2 on Friday then?

My local Argos say they have some for sale from 1700 first come first served and it's next door to Comet. Hopefully the gods of Pretentious Geekdom will smile down on me this afternoon.
 
Ordered online as I'm not too bothered about the wait.

Had £250 in my Quidco account that I've been saving, so its softened the blow to the wallet somewhat :)
 
Came home today and still no money has been taken out my account nor have I received an order confirmation email, though the order is appearing in my Apple account. Anybody got any ideas?
 
They won't charge you until they ship the iPad. If you have an order number you could ring Apple to confirm for peace of mind. I got my my confirmation email about 10 am (I ordered at 9 am).

If the order is appearing in your "Order status" section I wouldn't worry. As previously mentioned they usually only charge when it is shipped, although it does work differently I think with debit than credit cards I read somewhere.

Just phoned up their low rate number and talked to a computer :L it told me that the order is being processed, I'm just wondering if that is enough peace of mind!! :p

Thanks for the reassurance! I ordered using my debit card and was just a bit concerned that when I check the available balance on it, it hasn't decreased by £479 since last night!!
 
Anyone got a list of the numbers and the corresponding models for Argos?

All I have is this list: 508-5288, 508-5295, 508-5305, 508-5329, 508-5336, 508-5343, 508-5350, 508-5367, 508-5374, 508-5398, 508-5408, 508-5415
