I was playing on Veteran with the screen flicker cause of crossfire for a bit, AI seems rather dumb tbh, but the graphics are decent.
 
Damn this game fries my card lol hitted 82c earlier....usually get around 75c max in games that are demanding.

I hope they release a DX11 patch or some graphical options at least as the gameplay is very good i think considering majority of fps games as of late have been mediocre at best and Crysis 2 certainly isn't that in comparison to them.

I got to admit the particle effects and explosions are nice.:D

before playing this game, the hottest my 5850 had ever got outside furmark was 56!! after an hour of this, it was 68degrees. still not cause for alarm, i know, but stil.....
 
Bit of a random one for you here but on the first level when you drop down from the rooftop after being told about the Cloak setting, can the explosive barrels blow the buildings apart on the PC version?
I loved seeing buildings get blown apart on Warhead but theres none of that on the Xbox version of Crysis 2. :(
 
Decent game would say its much more fun to play than Crisis /warhead, graphics are nice can't see what the complaints are with it.
 
Man im really struggling to kill the aliens. At least with the humans you can stealth kill them with a headshot.

They are always in packs and as soon as they see you they just charge. Doing my head in now! any tips?

this fix

We are aware that some people are experiencing an issue with their Crysis 2 multiplayer key receiving two different errors;

- Multiplayer key will not save and needs to be re-entered
- “Serial number in use”

A patch to fix issue will be made available soon but in the mean time here is an easy work around solution to both of this issues;

1. Load Crysis 2, go to multiplayer and type in your key
2. Navigate back to Single Player
3. Go back into multiplayer and re-enter your key

After completing these 3 steps your multiplayer key will be saved and you will not be required to re-enter it. If you complete these steps and it still does work post here and let us know. Please ensure carefully that you follow the steps above before reporting an issue.

whats weird is the game cleary runs in directx 9 mode (checked with afterburner) the files tho contain direct3d 10.dll data files. I wonder if this is some new fangled tech where they can merge dx 10 features into dx9.

seems weird to have a d3d10.dll if there is no directx10 in the game.
 
Crysis 2 Advanced Graphics Options Application Version 1.5 is out (damn this guy is fast)
Changes (Verison 1.5)
*added HDR brightness level
*added Bloom level
*skipped initial login by default
*possibly fixed the no-motion blur bugs
*creates a separate autoexec.cfg file where you open the .exe file for more easy editing.

I'm begging to wonder if this guy works for crytek, he strangely appears on a forum with no posts and starts hammering out these graphics applications like they are piece of cake. Makes me wonder !!!

you know what its realy boring these kind of posts. Yea nice one for finding one un attractive area, I could take a screenshot of some amazing scenes but that wouldnt fit in to evreyones witch hunt would it?
 
It's not all about graphics the original may have looked the dogs but the game was terrible to play same with warhead looked nice but not great to play.

Some of the scenes look really nice in this it may be lacking in the close textures but as I say they do the job and it's fun to play.

Irritates me how some people state, "the original gameplay was terrible", as if it's fact. Whilst lots of people actually enjoyed the first two games gameplay a great deal, it's just that you (the person stating it) didn't - doesn't mean everyone found it terrible. Personally Crysis was one of the most interesting and enjoyable SP FPS games I've played - graphics aside.
