New Corsair Obsidian 650D

8igdave, I would like to apologise about the issue and I have raised this with the Manager of the department he works in, and rest asured this issue will be dealt with.

I understand your frustrations, however there are no 650Ds in Europe for another 6-8 weeks as far as I'm aware other than the stock with the noisey fans. What Corsair have done is emergency air shippped the "fix kits" from the Far East. The cases themselves cannot be air shipped as the costs for Corsair would be massive, they get shipped on container ships which take around 8 weeks to arrive in the UK.

The cost for air shipping a pallet comes in about £500 a pallet and when there are only 10 cases to a pallet then I'm sure you won't want to pay £50 more. I wouldn't.

Thankyou for your post. I do indeed hope it is fixed as otherwise you are just leaving your self open to other frustrated people demanding refunds for all sorts of products if your staff aren't even going to bother to actually find out the answer before they reply.

What you say makes sense, it is a pitty to pay £140 for a case and have to then fix it but it is a very nice case so I shall make do. Thanks.

Hi. Will the 600t and/or 650d handle temps from a gtx 460 in sli?

I'm going to build a sandy bridge, gtx 460 sli rig and need a case. Ideally I'd like a window, usb 3 and (I think, a side panel fan).

I've got the 600t and a GTX460 (not sli though) gigabyte so dumps heat in the case. Can't say I've ever had any heat issues. The front intake fan is good. the exhaust fan on top and rear suck air out really well. Love my case :) think you would too....:)

no side panel in the 600t though unless you mod one yourself

Top customer service. Right there. That's why OcUK will continue to be my etailer of choice.

8igdave and Philbrad,

I've been watching this thread to see if you receive 650D's with the dodgy fan problem ... what's happening ... have you got your cases and are you pleased with them?

I was going to get a Fractal Design R3 for a new build until I saw this case, I just love the look of it even more than my FT02B-W

Unfortunately mine does buzz :(, still pleased none the less, anyone know how I procure the fan adapter kit to fix? Ace Modder said OCUK would be supplying them?

Are you telling me that the case has been delivered and doesn't contain the kit to fix it? I can't check till tomorrow.

Why can I just not get any straight answers from ocuk. Getting pretty fed up with this now. Starting to think I should have just cancelled and got it elsewhere so I didn't have to keep jumping through hoops. So what is it, they are being supplied or not? Or do we have to ring up, get them supplied and then wait longer. Can't see my self pre-ordering from ocuk ever again tbh.
