in my opinion you get what you pay for.
your looking at least double the expense to buy a gaming pc compared to a console. taking into account all the peripherals, monitors and operating systems etc.
for what you get for the money. i think consoles are pretty good value for money.
i used to be a pc fanboy but ive been more than happy with the performance of my consoles recently and due to the lack of pc exclusive titles that i am interested in. i rarely use my rig anymore. prehaps BF3 will change this!

), then that would render my Q6600 and 5850 obsolete in a way if those games struggled to play smoothly with nice eye candy. This would also mean many of us wanting to upgrade again and this will be costly.
