As i've said, I don't think even CryTek know WTF the story is meant to be in this game

Though really, basically, Prophet said the nanosuit developed a symbiotic relationship with him. When he killed himself he wanted to break the link, but it turns out his consciousness was still alive inside the suit. Basically he was the suit from that point forward, guiding you all the time. Alcatraz was heavily wounded, and was a 'dead man walkin'. The suit fused with his body, repaired it, as explained by the medical scanner. In the end Prophet and Alcatraz became one - Alcatraz absorbed Prophet's memory and personality as it was stored in the suit.

Just completed it and just WTF at the end?!

After climbing in the massive ceth spor thingy and 'beating' them I got the final Prophet flashback. But then when you come round you are Prophet again?!?! I'm sorry but what?

I haven't bothered with unlocking and finding random things, i probably should tbh.

I've just tried multiplayer and after finally getting it to accept my serial i cannot find a single server with a ping below 100 :eek:

First 4 attempts to join a server i get 'Connection Lost' error..... then when i finally manage to connect to a UK server.... my ping is 200 :mad:

I was able to play the demo no problems, what the hell!?

Litterally at least 1 cheater per server (wont call them hackers, they just download someone elses premade stuff). Would be fun if it wasnt for that, really must be a pathetic person to need to cheat in an online game.

Just type crysis 2 hack into any search. Multiple websites offering hack downloads either with a fee or without. Same with most recent games. People just download someone elses program/method and call themselves a hacker.

played it for an hour, and i am not just not getting into it - bit dissapointed since in last 2 crysis games at least the first part was the good part - ie jungle etc... . feels like they trying to be cod - ie very linear and let's not even start with multi :rolleyes:

as far as gfx nothing special, in fact city doesn't look as good as first crysis gfx imo. would have hoped that it would have been little more groundbraking, at least using some of the the stalker lighting etc... oh well, at least it doesn't require a new pc build

. so far, my ati4870X2 and e8600 handle it fine on extreme @1900x1200 res

i miss jack carver !!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS can i delete this ea download manager nonesense or does the game require it to play?

Just tried that & it didn't work. Just in an endless loop of enter you license code.
Also, could anyone tell me how to add Crysis 2 to a BT home hub, especially the details for port settings etc? Thanks.

Sorry i'm in work.

I added the CD key to the main menu it worked for me, you'll know what I mean when you load up the game, just look for it on the main menu

I felt the same, and i'm sorry to say it stays like that for a good 4hrs or so.

2nd half of the game is much more fun, it's just a hell of a chore to reach it.

Looks like version 1.7 of that gfx tool is out, sorry if this has already been posted.

Changes (Version 1.7)
*added Max FPS
*added Draw Near FoV
*FoV's will now take in decimals
*removed 4th level as it was confusing
*removed FSAA because it had no real effect
*changed names of all levels to match Crysis 2 default names to also remove confusion
*fixed some minor bugs

I heard the multiplay is host based, which means the person joining the game with the best connection hosts the game.

Also theres a headshot bug because the head killzone area is too big, making it easy to hit the hed with 1 shot from just a spray & prey.
