Yup got mine still but is stored somewhere. Might have to dig it out as I've not played it in ages. I do remember some discs were temperamental when loading, think the laser needs cleaning I guess, nothing else from what I remember.

hmmm well since I never got a chance to experience this console, its on my hitlist. The joypad looks a bit special

Looking at a mint boxed one, with all leads which include a SCART connector, going to find out if this is RGB...

When I saw the cartridge slot on the back of the machine I thought for a second it could play Megadrive games, unfortunately this doesn't seem to be the case.

Just need to research the games, and decide which ones to play/collect.

I've been playing these with my 360 pad without any problems.

I bought packs 1-4 for £5.99 each when they launched, they sell sonic and toe ajme and earl seperately for £3 each. I bought Toe Jam and Earl 2, and still need to get sonic because my mega collection CD doesnt work on Win 7.

But its £3.99 per sonic game which is really too much since I've already bought each one 3 times already (original mega drive carts, sonic + knuckles collection, and sega mega collection CDs).

They look fine in 1920x1200, and the D pad on the Xbox 360 controller definitely has functional diagonals

I tried to record some gameplay in fraps, but it comes out terrible and jittery.

Its a much better virtual console than any emulator I've tried before, easilly the best way to get mega drive games on the PC.

Just bought a mint one with a nights controller, pretty cheap.

As a backup plan, I'm haggling with someone now for another mint one boxed, and it's down to £27.50 but £10 postage. Thing is, I've just bought King of the Monsters (Neo Geo AES cart) brand new (extremely hard to get) from same seller, so might be able to work out a deal on postage.

Sega Rally £3 and Resident Evil £6.50 :-)

Sega Rally and Resident Evil are classics.

If you can get hold of nights into dreams, virtua cop (with gun) and guardian heroes, well worth it.

For those moaning about the lack of Sonic, I bought this the other day and it came through the post today

Also, there are filters available to use on the PC versions making pixel city a little more like pixel village

I want Revenge of Shinobi.

You can't get Revenge of Shinobi because of copyright reasons it will never be released on any other system.

Do yourself a favour and buy a megadrive(and if you complete it i'll pay the amount you paid for the console!)

I already have a mega drive and Revenge of Shinobi cartridge.

I dont feel like getting a TV to connect it to.

are you talking about playing it on the actual console?

i found the final boss impossible, even when i had 9(max) lives and had the reflexes of a cat!

same happened with ghouls 'n ghosts, got to the last level of that(once) and failed
