Thats pretty embarrasing for Crytek, really dropped the ball there. I saw "Cheat detection - Now in place to ensure all users are on a level playing field" in the patch notes, maybe this is what its refering to and theyve fixed it already.

Liamcrane- i have practiaclly the same system as you(965be and 650w antec) and my 5850 is at stock and i am running it very smoothly indeed, but i have V-sync on all the time as i get very bad v-sync tearing.
 
Hmm, one thing I will say for Crysis 2, the gameplay really made me use the suit powers more than the first Crysis.

In Crysis I went through the entire game using armour mode with a few moments of speed or cloak here and their.

Crysis 2 on the other hand really forces you to utilize the suit abilities more. Armour is no longer a wonder tool that works all the time, but actually drains suit power and you also move more slowly with it.

I found myself cloaking to get a real NEEDED edge in combat, and then using armour as a sort of last resort when everyone and their dog opened fire on me.

I always found the "power wheel" suit mode selection in the first game alittle cumbersome, but with the default mappings of Crysis 2's armour and cloak mapped to Q & E respectively, it works much better. Went through the entire game without using the power wheel in Crysis 2.
 
I loved the wheel mapping personally... felt totally lost and got destroyed on the MP demo as the wheel functions were ridiculously inaccurate and unresponsive. Is there a way to map everything back the the wheel the way it used to be?
 
Does the new 11.3 drivers fix the flickering issue with xfire for anyone? They certainly dont for me.
Still cant even get the HDMI driver to install unless i use the HDMI driver from 10.11 or older. Great drivers as usual from AMD.
 
You def need to get rid of motion blur to play.
What is it with motion blur by the way? no one likes it as far as i can tell!
I still think the game looks great though

I completed the game with motion blur on the whole way. Took me a while to get used to used it but by the end I liked it - gave the game a different feel to other FPSs I've played. Explains why I'm rubbish at COD now again though :)

although there is a lot of action i still prefer the first.
the first does look better(i remember booting up crysis and was blown away by the nano suits,but the new one looks like a bloated cheap toy and Yerli must love ghetto bootys haha),crysis 2 is quite linear, corridor followed by a walled in arena and then repeat.
im not saying its a bad game but i prefer the firsts open nature and there is also a lot of hand holding in 2 also not much destructibility unless its scripted:(
and thank god for the config program, the bloom and bur was destroying my eyes.
will finish 2 then go back to crysis 1 community maps.
