Options > Controls > Keys > Aircraft > Scroll Down to Fire Guns for the fire button.

left the game downloading via steam last night
when i launch i now get " launcher has stopped working " message ??

FIXED

Was avg, disabled that and it loads, is there anything I can do to make it run reasonably well?
Runs like a bag of of ••••
Anything that can be downloaded or edited to fix

Well with everything on Low, all trees and stuff turned off that I can I get 80 FPS in the sky and 60+ on the ground. Shame I'm pony at the game!

Having a play with this now. Overall, FPS is ok - but there are a few stutters here and there. I'm playing with .ini files at the moment, trying to stop my POV hat from changing the view as I use TrackIR and want to use the POV hat for trim changes. I think the entries below in ConfUser.ini might do the trick:

[HotKey viewPan]
NumPad-4=PanLeft2
NumPad-3=PanRight3
NumPad-2=PanDown
NumPad-1=PanLeft3
##Pov225 Joystick+Pov=PanLeft3
##Pov270 Joystick+Pov=PanLeft2
##Pov315 Joystick+Pov=PanLeft
##Pov0 Joystick+Pov=PanUp
##Pov45 Joystick+Pov=PanRight
##Pov90 Joystick+Pov=PanRight2
##Pov135 Joystick+Pov=PanRight3

I've commented out the applicable entries, let's see if it works!

I'm not playing with any graphics settings in the .ini files as the issues may be patched out pretty soon. I am looking at onscreen font sizes, however.

I played Il2 and Forgotten Battles a looooot while I was at uni, but since moving and having less space the full pedals, throttle, stick rig was hard to justify to the missus

Might have to take a look though as some of my fondest moments in gaming has been terrorising people in a bf109 (love that plane).

Is the multiplayer still borked? as I'm finding no servers (It just searches for ever) or am I missing something obvious?

You can do direct ip mulitplayer, works fine.

There's a few ip's listed at 1c and simhq forums.

I am not sure if i missed something but i am having problems using the gun turrets.

I can move the gun about but i can't seem to aim down the sight so if anything a bit above me or below i can see what i am shooting lol.

Found out i missed a button on the 1C Company forum.

It's shift+F1 for gunsight view
