Anyone else feel freaked out when going into an apple store?

I'm not sure I understand why some people think that anyone who "buys", "uses" or "likes" an Apple product is believed to "love" it, or what that even means.

I haven't suggested anything other. I've said more than once now, that Apple isn't unique and others have done exactly the same thing in pandering to people's information cascade and flattering the customer about their products.
Apple customers no longer seem to think "Is this product the best value and function for my needs?" but rather ignore that for "How will this product make me feel?" and Apple obviously reinforce this digression by applauding people when they make said purchases. I'm reminded of this song:
Taking a further step back, I'm alarmed that the majority of people honestly believe that buying goods will make them feel better. But that's an incredibly loaded topic in itself and will no doubt bring out the left/right economic schism.
The only thing unique about Apple is that they seem to be the first company to have their comparison (i.e. technological/'expensive') goods available to a relatively affluent population/mass. Thus, all that is reflected is that more stupid people have more money than before. I despair because I expect more from humanity on both sides; less manipulation and less braindead conformity.
I couldn't give a toss if someone buys an iPod. I just don't want them doing it so they can keep up with the Jones's nor do I want Apple propogating falsehood to get them to do so.

Because capitalism needs you to keep buying things so the model continues to function and to get you to buy things it propogates falsehood in that you'll find happiness by buying said products. It's just the way of the world. But as I said, it's too loaded to tangent here.

You know I'm not a tree-hugger. But because I'm coming from the 'left' of the spectrum, that doesn't for one second mean my arguments are irrelevant or wrong nor that I suddenly want to overthrow the government.
Apple do make good products, but does anything they do warrant the absolute insanity of the cult that surrounds them?
As I said, I'm not against Apple at all. I own an iPod-nano-touch-thingy for crying out loud.
I feel happy when I buy expensive luxury things, I'm pretty sure everyone else does too.

I don't hate Apple. I hate the whole pretentious cult that surrounds them. It could be any product or any company this happened to. It was just so happened to be Apple and my guess is due to them being the first company to have niche comparison goods available to an affluent mass. I'd put good money on this happening again and again and again in the future.
It's the behaviour, marketing (lies) and stupidity at play I dislike here.

If pointing out the truth/reality from an objective point of view means I'm somehow automatically opposed, then what does that say about the bubbles these people are living in or indeed, trying to create?
Opposing in principle on a social level what capitalism is doing to people at an invidual level does not suddenly make you a socialist who wants to live in a communist state. I'm perfectly content with the capitalist society. I just wish more people were informed so they wouldn't buy in to idiocy in the first place. If we're ever going to push humanity forward, we've got to acknowledge that our economic system at a social level is flawed. Pointing that out doesn't make you a ****ing hippy.
Where am I raging? Where am I claiming to bring anything down? We're discussing Apple and I'm giving a perspective. There is no hypocrisy at play here. Capitalism/marketing just is what it is. It's the social level I'm concerned with!
