Are you suggesting that everyone who owns an iPhone has bought it as a result of a herd mentality, or just some people?
Many.
I don't view the world in absolutes.

I'm not sure I understand the love for Apple's products.
I've used a lot of their products and just don't get it.
I'm not sure I understand why some people think that anyone who "buys", "uses" or "likes" an Apple product is believed to "love" it.
This whole argument is utterly retarded.
Same as the vast majority of products then really.
It's not like the sheep have been hard done by though, it would be worse if the £500-600 they were spending wasn't getting them what is arguably the best phone out.
I feel happy when I buy expensive luxury things, I'm pretty sure everyone else does too.
Apple make extremely good products and people buy them, I'm really not sure what you are going on about but you sound like a tree hugger![]()

Nix - do you believe that this phenomenon exists only with Apple, or that Apple are the only business to exploit it? Because it really doesn't, and they really aren't.
It's odd. Even though Nix knows apple are not unique in this he seems to have a huge hatred for only apple.
Keep raging against that machine.
So you will rage against every company?
What marketing lies? Got an example?
Apple may often sound cheesy, but I don't think they lie.
