Mine has arrived!
A quick word of warning to people, my 60GB agility didn't come with a 2.5" to 3.5" adaptor. I didn't need one but I just thought I'd let people know just in case you were expecting one. I suspect this is another reason for the vertex's higher price.
Post back once its up and running. Would love to have some insight on how good they are
I'm just setting up a fresh install of windows 7 now, I'll post up some benchmarks in a bit if you're interested?
In real terms though the performance boost feels incredible! It's in a fairly underpowered laptop (asus UL30A) and it just feels so much more responsive than its old 5,400rpm hard drive.
I'm very impressed so far![]()
Yeah be interested to see your benchmarks. I was more interested from a desktop performance point of view, however I do have an Asus UL30A so be still good to see![]()
No, neither is a Vertex 2.is this one the vertex 2e version?

Thanks for thatThat still looks like it would be a massive improvement over the standard hard drive. Any increase on the already impressive battery life?
