I have to say, from the game today a City midfield three of De Jong, Toure and Silva would be a scary prospect. Drop that useless **** Barry and get a proper winger in to replace Kolarov and you'd have an instant improvement.
 
Barry really was ****, no idea why Mancini doesnt start Milner there. Hopefully he will see the light and start him there more often because nearly every game he has played CM Milner has looked fantastic wheras on the wing he has looked useless.
Some changes will be made in the summer though if Mancini stays. A full pre season as well will really bond this team i reckon and next year the team could be a real challenger for the title.
Kolarov was playing LB :p but i agree we need one more top winger. Someone like Sanchez or Hulk would be fantastic.
 
I still think that City midfield is easily copeable if you just stick someone tight on Silva, he's the one that moves into good positions and plays tight quick passes, if you have someone tight on him I think it would make it vastly more difficult for them. Sadly the only one on the United team who could do that role is Fletcher or Park probably. Fergie seems convinced Park is suddenly an attacking genius again so he was never going to play him that deep.

If I here the commentators say "well it looks like Park is playing just off Berbatov" once more I'll scream. Hernandez gets Rooney playing just off him, Berbatov gets....a lemon.
 
Had a bunch of united fans park outside my house for the game - have to say they were top lads before and after the game despite losing!

On to the game - maybe wasnt the best quality but it really had some exciting moments - made a good change from some of the usual dross we are normally treated to.

If Kompany doesnt get into the team of the year there is something wrong - i dont watch city but i rarely see him put a foot wrong when i have - he is so solid and throws himself into everything, a very underrated player.

Any reason why united havent done any interviews to the press / tv (i havent seen any yet) - if they havent then that just stinks - just shows that the team are a bunch of sore losers - they even let themselves get wound up by balotelli. At least some united fans on here at least (not my london armchair 'hardcore' fans who have resorted to having digs at liverpool?! - how sad) can see the light and admit they lost to the better team on the day.

If tevez is fit for the final, they should win. United to run out easy winners for the league, and a spanish team to win the CL.

Milner is just as poor as Barry tbh.

I hope Mancini goes in the summer, I'd much rather see an attacking Manchester City side.

Nani should be on the player of the year over Nasri who at the start of the season scored some great goals eg v Fulham but apart from that i haven't seen anything that means he deserves to be on the list.
Nani has looked good i must admit, not yesterday :p but scored some important goals this year.
