Sigh been talking back and forth in messages for two days, really getting on and a high match. I mention about my mobile and i give her mine and then it all stops.

Maybe she needs time to think :(

Personally, i'd be a bit freaked out if someone gave me their phone number after just 2 days, you hardly know eachother. Just my opinion mind. :)

Online dating isn't my thing, but it sounds like a typical girl in real life, who merely enjoys the ego stroking without actually being serious.

Get a few compliments, feel better etc.

I usually swap numbers just before the meet "If you need to contact me here's my number etc...". Then if the meet goes well you can text/phone/stalk with impunity!

It totally depends. I've messaged a lass before and within 2 hours been chatting to her in a local pub, that was fairly unusual mind ;)

As for phone numbers. I've had 3 people give me numbers within a couple hours of messaging although I kept using the mail feature until I was happy they weren't time wasters. It's not like you're asking for a number, you're putting yours out there if they choose to, which isn't rude nor too forward in my opinion.

Looks like this plan might've screwed things up for me

Sigh :(

All said was

I'm heading out now to pick my little sister up from a party, here's my number ** if you want to chat other than messages. But whenever your ready :)
Nothing wrong with that, we've been talking as if we were good friends for the last few days and really getting on well. If she stops talking just because of that then i think she is foolish as i'd done nothing wrong.

Seems ok for women to do that to me and for women to just say " hi " but what i did was too early?, ok !

True i should've done that, but i wasn't sure either way hence me asking advice here beforehand but it was bad advice :(

Not sure how i can fix this without sending her another message

Things are looking up. I've got 3 dates lined up over the next week. 2 emailed me and I emailed 1 of them. All seem very nice too. One is a fair distance away but I thought I'd take a chance as you never know..
