Well, I've had fun modding my San Fran, but a HTC HD2 running Andeoid 2.3 (and hopefully dual booting with WP7 soon too!) has just arrived, a new toy to mod!

Fancy a play with Windows Phone 7 too, supposedly the HD2 can run Windows Mobile 6.5/7, Android, Ubuntu, Meego, Windows 95, etc, etc, should keep the modding side of me happy, lol!

guys, i've change my keyboard to HTC from Android somehow, how the hell do I change it back without wiping? Can't see the option anywhere. (SS5)

ye did the same.. can't find a way to change back.. holding on the "text box" should normally allow you to change the input method but it doesn't work.. so i got the "gingerbread keyboard" from the market..

thanks dude, you can also go into manage applications and "force stop" on the HTC keyboard, it reverts back

Doesn't give you the option to alternate between the two. That's the first place I checked.

it is.. but is a bit difficult by the looks of it.. very easy to damage the "digitalizer" which i think costs more than the phone..

found a pdf.. shows how the phone can be disasembled.. this way you can reach the display and clean the dust off.. but again its risky in my eyes..

im using SS and find it very good although i find the battery life very odd.

Some times it lasts for days other days it barely gives me a day.

done it this way.. my phone is still less than a week old but after installing custom ROM i had to do this..

unplugged from charger at 1PM used around 2hrs Wifi with skype on + a few texts battery is still at 93%

With regards to battery calibration, if you just leave the thing go after flashing, does it eventually sort itself out anyway?
