*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

Right I've had my Desire for a year now and my number one gripe remains: the phone dialer sorts the contacts by who last called. This means that my list is completely out of order now and completely useless.

Anyone know a good way to fix this?
 
Impressed with HTC customer services. Called them at 8.55pm, was dealt with by a very helpful assistant who offered a courier to come collect my handset. Was all really easy, I didn't even have to press any number options when I called them lol, :D
 
Only gripe with the phone so far for me is the battery life, it's terrible compared to my old San Fran. I've got everything turned off in the background and it just about last 4 days on very light use.

4 days! Do you actually use the phone in those 4 days? my desire can do a day comfortably with normal use. It sounds like you are expecting far to much from it for a smartphone.

Mine can do about 9 hours comfortably :(

But I've had it so long so I have got a charger at work, car, and a spare battery so never really need to worry.
The only downside of this phone tbh!
 
i get 3 days use out of mine, 4 with being a tad more careful. i use bluetooth, gps (jogtracker), wifi and tis fine.

Is 4 days good or bad then? My San Fran used to last a full week with light use. This one is for 4 with a handful of calls and texts and about an hour spent on the internet. I'm assuming i'm asking too much of it then?

4 is excellent for a near top of the range smartphone.
 
been trying leedroid 3.0.3 today, I love the speed to me it seems as fast and as smooth as cm7......

Few crashes with apps etc which seem ok on cm7 so im back to that for now, but compared to other sense roms its lightening :)

Scroll past the last entry of that list, and then you will get to your contacts in the correct order.
 
My Desire has propped died now :(

It rebooted while I was just browsing the internet and now it wont go past the T-Mobile loading screen just hangs there Grrr :mad:

Any ideas?
