No meat today

He's not still dead, he's alive

Is he in the room with us?

I do quite like the fact good old J-Dizzle (that's right) died for our sins yet we still have to spend our lives in worship of him and his old mad or we burn forever in fiery damnation.

Fasting today, it's one day in the year so I think I can do it. :p

Btw there is no religious need to give up meat etc, it's simply a mark of respect etc.

:)

Not a Christian obviously... and no I don't celebrate Easter, I buy the eggs cos they're there.

Can see this turning into a relgion bashing thread :)

I am loving this pepperoni pizza, finally overcoming my hangover now :D

To yourself and God.

Out of 365 days in the year, it's nice to give up something like food every so often. Dosen't hurt the body and keeps the mind focused.

Like I said, totally of my own volition. :)

Why would I want to do that? Who is it going to benefit? Certainly not me.

Whilst I fully advocate high fat/high protein > carbs... that's about 8,000 calories in butter alone :D

Do some people eat meat every day? A day I have meat is more of a unique occasion.

Yes. Meat is awsome and should be a staple part of your diet.

I think some of you were dragged up as kids, no wonder this country has no morals.

Dragged up? Never heard that expression before.

To yourself and God.

You just said it isn't religious yet it's a mark of respect to god?

Who said you had to, I was explaining why I was doing so myself. :/

You just said it isn't religious yet it's a mark of respect to god?

I said it wasn't isn't a compulsory need, It's just my choice to show my respect. :)

And certainly not his imaginary friend ;)

Ohhhh you are a clever one. So funny, so witty.
