Which game would you defend to the death?

Most of these games dont really need defending (with the exception of mass effect), i think the point is to put down those qwerky games that only a few like.
 
I really, really enjoyed C&C Tiberiun Sun and also Fallout Tactics, both of which got absolutely decked by the fans of the predecessors but which i thought were both class games in their own right.

To the death, probably not, but i thought these were excellent games in the face of a public outcry :)
 
My friend didnt "get" FF7 and decided it was just a "pokemon style game", slice of gaming history that...he does seem a bit clueless with his games choices though he reckons jedi power battles is the best game ever.
 
I loved oblivion, the people in it were freaks and nutjobs, the tramps would change their voice from a tired greeting voice to a posh goodbye voice.

I also once swore that a mudcrab gave me some fighting talk, but it was a man hiding behind a rock.
 
I'd have to say TF2 as well. I love lots of games, but for pure unadulterated fun I don't think TF2 can be beaten. Despite the incredible frustration sometimes being on an awful team with huge ego players, and less said about trading, the better, it's still stupidly addictive.
 
Black & White. Horrendously buggy and flawed in so many ways, but so, so much fun and pretty revolutionary - nothing quite like it :)

BW2 was crap, though.
 
Zelda - If anyone talks badly about it I would literally punch them in the mouth.

Portal (basically any game made by Valve)
MGS
Devil May Cry
Bioshock. I love this game I don't know how people can't like it.
 
Unreal Tournament 2004 Online, that was a hellish good game! :eek:

Not to the Death, but did enjoy it an incredible amount was actually Bioshock.
 
Forza 2 - Best racing game I've ever played and is so much better than Gran Turismo, very underrated IMO.

Halo 1 - Spent too many hours playing this game, I never get bored of it even to this day, some of my friends say it's one of the worst FPS games they've ever played but to me it's one of the best!

Call of Duty Modern Warfare - The first Modern Warfare, this game is my favourite FPS of all time, a lot of my friends say Black Ops is better and even Modern Warfare 2, they don't compare to it TBH

Assassins Creed Brotherhood and Uncharted for me. They seems like basically the same game but with guns instead of sword fighting.
 
None really, but there are some games that stand out.

Diablo II
Unreal Tournament (original)
Final Fantasy VII
World of Warcraft (before the expansions)
Metal Gear Solid II I noticed someone say, and would some what agree.
