The new Orange Android phone (San Francisco) £99...but a Question??

From what I have read Orange seem to be pretty good with returns, one person claiming that they replaced their phone with a new OLED one when he admitted breaking the screen.

I have read about the touchscreen issues and then the issues when a person replaces the screen / digitizer themselves.

SS RLS5 is supposed to help those with touchscreen issues. But I'm not sure it is the same with those with replacement digitizer problems.

Do you happen to know if the phone you took it from was the same revision etc as the phone you put it into..?

no im afraid i have no idea.

I am using LanceH's variation of the SS ROM. I have edited quite a few apps from it though and then added a few of my own...

it is a pleasure to use.

I've been using SS rsl4 for about a week and a half now. It's really stable and the battery life is good. I've managed 2 days 18 hours with reasonably light use.

I just changed my partition sizes to 150mb system, 20mb cache and 270mb for data (GEN 2) and then I have installed CM 7.0.2 as a fresh build.

All seems well :)

Do I have to mess about with all that partition stuff when putting the new CM7 on or can I leave it as normal from when I did it the very first time?

Cheers

There is absolutely no need to do what I have done. As Dangerous as noted he has a partition size of 136mb and it fits fine. Some had a partition size of 128mb which was causing some issues and is not suitable for CM7, without chopping bits out of the CM7 builds.
As long as your system partition size is 136mb all will be well :)
